In December 2013, the Italian and French Societies of Radiation Protection in cooperation with ICRP and IRPA organized the First European Workshop on the Ethical Dimension of the Radiological Protection System (report and presentations available at this page).
Building on the conclusions of the First European Workshop, the Second one is aimed to further investigate the application of ethics for specific topics of implementation, focusing on occupational exposure, medical exposure and public exposure associated with legacy and radioactive waste.
The Second European Workshop is being organized jointly by the Spanish Society of Radiation Protection (SEPR), AIRP (Italy), SFRP (France) and SRP (UK), in cooperation with ICRP and IRPA. It is hosted by UPM at ETSII.
